Cookie Policy

A clear explanation of what we store on your device, why, and how to control it at any time.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Ours is a simple informational website. It uses no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. Usage is limited to running the site and measuring its performance in aggregate.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a browser stores on your device when you visit a website, helping the site remember your preferences and run certain functions. Alongside them we use similar technologies such as Local Storage to remember your choice regarding this notice.

2. Types we use

a. Essential (cannot be disabled)

Required to run and secure the site; they do not need your consent. They include storing your cookie-notice choice, your language preference and page display settings.

  • ufuq_cookie_v1 — stores your choice in this notice so it does not reappear. Duration: until you clear browser data.

b. Performance and analytics (optional)

Help us understand which pages are most visited, where visitors come from and where problems occur, using aggregated data that does not identify you personally. Enabled only after you consent through the cookie notice.

c. Functional (optional)

Improve the experience by remembering preferences or enabling embedded content such as maps. Disabling them may cause some elements to stop working.

d. Advertising or cross-site tracking cookies

We do not use them. We place no advertising cookies, do not sell browsing data, and do not share your behaviour with advertising networks.

3. Third-party services

The website uses a limited number of external services that may set cookies or log your IP address:

  • Google Fonts — to load the site's typefaces.
  • OpenStreetMap — to display the map on the contact page.
  • WhatsApp — when you click a contact button, the interaction moves to the WhatsApp platform and is governed by its policies.

These services are subject to their providers' privacy policies, and we do not control their practices.

4. How to control cookies

  1. From the site notice: choose "Accept all" or "Essential only" when the notice appears. To change your choice later, clear the site's data in your browser so the notice appears again.
  2. From browser settings: all modern browsers allow you to delete or block cookies:
    • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
    • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
    • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
    • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  3. Private browsing: deletes cookies automatically when you close the window.

Blocking all cookies may disable some website functions, such as saving your preferences or displaying the map.

5. Cookies and personal data

Where cookies contain data that can be linked to you, that data is treated as personal data and governed by our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

6. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when services are added or the technologies used change. The updated version is published here with an amended "last updated" date.
